| I am a qualified practitoner with over 4 years experience working in an early years setting providing quality learning and care for children aged 0-5. I started my career as a modern apprentice qualifiying in February 2017. I am very reliable with excellent time keeping and attendance. I feel that communication is a very important aspect for a child care practioner and i am able to communicate in a clearly with others and I feel that this is an area I excell in. I have childcare experience with ages 2-16 years old including working as an evening babysitting, a live-in Nanny and a festival nanny. | I have five years of experience working with young children as a volunteer teacher and nanny. Whilst nannying I really enjoy being able to make a personal connection with each child I look after and plan fun activities around their interests. I often like to plan themed weeks around different topics — it might be outer space, butterflies, or a specific country. To me, the sky is the limit and it's all about what engages your child. I have also loved to spend time cooking or baking with those I looked after and plan exciting days outside (museums, petting zoo, etc.) I am also a visual artist and have degrees in music performance and education. Each of these skill sets is something I bring to my childcare work and I am also happy to provide tutoring in any of these areas. | My first experience of working with children was in 2013 when I became a nanny for an 18 month old boy. I was his nanny for two years until I moved to Edinburgh and became a teaching assistant at Clifton Hall School, a private school on the outskirts of Edinburgh. I worked there for 4.5 years. During that time I qualified as a Nursery Practitioner and worked in the Nursery at Clifton Hall until I moved to Glasgow in October 2019. I moved due to a new job opportunity at a private school in Glasgow. I am now studying a BA Childhood Practice degree back in my hometown of Ayr and looking for a new job as a nanny. I love children, the company of children and watching them learn and grow.
