Babysitters in Vale of White Horse

| A creative and passionate individual with a love for working with people: During my degree I volunteered weekly a Bristol primary school providing one-to-one maths support. During the summer months in Oxford I worked as an Activity Leader for teens aged 11-18 at the Oxford School of English. After my degree I left the UK to travel and volunteer, spending two months at a kindergarten in Ecuador before moving to Melbourne for two and a half years. During my time in Melbourne I was a casual babysitter and carer for a number of families, minding children ages 2 - 12. It was at this time that I also worked as Therapy Assistant for individuals with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Now living back in Oxford full time, I am looking to continue my work with children. I am a well organised and creative individual with deep emotional intelligence that is reflected in my work with people over the years.

| Despite only being 19, i have been caring for my younger sibling who has both physical and mental disabilities actively since i was 14. I am one of 16 cousins, being the second eldest i often babysit and care for my younger relatives, i am DBS certified and have experience in nurseries, schools (mainstream and specialised) and voluntary charity work. i am currently in my first year of university and am an oxford local, i am currently learning to drive but do not yet have a license.

| I have 1 year of experience working as a teaching assistant in a British school in Madrid in a year 1 class (children aged 4-6) where I assisted the class teacher both in lessons and in extra curricular activities such as sports and school trips. I also worked this summer as an activity leader for Education First where I led activities and trips for groups of up to 30 international students aged 14-17.

| Having always babysat for cousins, family friends, and neighbors I thought I'd pick up some extra babysitting work alongside my career in immunology whilst I save for a home. I enjoy helping kids with their homework, cooking meals and reading the bedtime stories to my cousins and friend's kids. I've previously worked as a carer, albeit it with the elderly, when supporting my masters degree. I enjoy looking after people, whether old or young, and feel it's in my nature to be caring. I am free in the evenings and on the weekends.

| I can babysit children in different age groups. I always make sure that the child/children feel comfortable and well, I am good at coming up with ideas and activities. I love to teach the children new things, do crafts, explore outside with them and most of all create amazing bonds. I want to be able to provide parents with comfort and security of having someone trustworthy watching their little ones.
