Babysitters in South Hams

| I have been a foster carer for the last 5 years and in that time I have gained a wealth of experience in caring for children aged 0-14. Many of these have special needs including Autism, Downs syndrome and trauma related behavioural disorders. I am trained in therapeutic parenting and enjoy keeping up to date with current research in child care. I have recently moved to the area and had my daughter, so I am now looking to get back into the work I love and gain more experience.

| I may not have years of experience like some other candidates, however I can hand on heart say that I could still do as a good a job. As someone who doesn't raise their voice, and doesn't tend to get frustrated, a lot of children have been able to warm to me. Having a brother who's pretty autistic certainly has made me a lot more understanding how to approach children, among other things. I'm happy to do mainly anything, but it should be noted that I do not yet have a license. I have an advanced DBS, a well as a certificate in sudden cardiac arrest (as awarded by the FA). I'm comfortable working with children of all ages, and gender.

| I have loads of young cousins that I look after, I can drive and don’t mind staying late. Mainly looking for the occasional evening. I have a part-time job where I work usually 20-25 hours a week after college, so would be available probably 2/3 days a week after half 3, some days vary so message for more information
