| Working in childcare has always been a passion and key interest of mine. One of my motivations to go into teaching is to provide those I care for with the best opportunities and outcomes. I believe everyone has the chance to achieve anything and therefore try to remove the I can’t attitude. In school I was told I wouldn’t achieve much and this motivated me to prove those people wrong since then I have left school with GCSEs as a pass, a level 3 in childcare at AAA*, a degree in childhood studies, culture and education achieving a 2.2 and recently began my career in teaching as a qualified primary teacher. I have over ten years experience working in nurseries where I have held roles in before and after school clubs, a holiday club practitioner and mostly experience with baby rooms and under twos. Where I have been a room leader, curriculum leader and key person holding responsibility on the planning, behaviour, routines and responsibilities. In 2019 I began my journey in teaching completing my pgce in 2020 for primary. I have taught in nursery classes, reception, key stage one and year three. I do have DBS checks because of the line of work I am in and was previously in. I use to do support work for children and young adults with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and language impediment in which I really enjoyed as I found it really rewarding. With Spring time coming I would like to be able to enjoy some time outdoors and doing some little fun activities on the weekends, during holidays and even after school with the little ones! Or even if it’s nights parents need assistance with then I’m your girl! My current job is nights (2 days a week) which means the majority of the week I’m up quite late, and then I start my day quite early. I look forward to hearing off you.
