After School Care Sidmouth

| I am a nanny/babysitter looking to work part time. I have seventeen years experience working alongside children aged between 0- 14. I first started in Childcare in 2001 when I joined an After School Club and qualified in 2002 as a Play Worker. I loved it, especially as it gave the children some way of 'letting off steam' at the end of a long school day. After this, I joined a Family Community Workshop as a Child project worker. Here I introduced Arts & Crafts and did lots of other activities with the children and young mums. I was then asked to join a Day Nursery where I spent six years in a baby room as a Nursery Key Person and was responsible for my own group, aged 1-2 years. I also had experience with the toddlers and rising 5's. I have always enjoyed working with children as I find it very rewarding. I take childcare very seriously, and I am very passionate about what I do, and do it to the best of my ability. I believe it should be a fun and enjoyable experience, and also in 'old fashioned values' such as the importance of p's & q's and respect for one another. For the past two years i have been a nanny in private families. Being a nanny in a local family unit would be my ideal job.

| In June 2018 I completed my level three childcare and education diploma at College. Part of the diploma required us to do over 365 hours of placement work in a variety of settings such as nurseries and primary schools. I have done placements at College nursery, Clyst Heath Primary school and Primary school and their nursery. Working in these placements over the two years gave me so much experience as my college tutor would come in regularly and assess my work with the children and I was also required to plan and do different activities for groups of children based on the EYFS framework which in turn helped me really understand the different areas of development and also to make sure the activities that I did with the children were suited to their ages and abilities. When I finished college I worked at Sid mouth nursery as a nursery practitioner where I had responsibility for caring for babies and also toddlers. I have also baby sat from the age of 16 for family friends which has ranged from babies to children. As well as taking children to and from different activities and after school clubs. | Hello I am Tegan, I have working in childcare for 4 years and was a play leader of a after school club and holiday club for 3 years.I am also a baby room leader in a nursery. But I am looking for a bit of extra income. I have done lots of babysitting before for children from 0-11 years old.

| I am a DBS checked childcare practitioner in Exmouth, currently finishing off my level 2 apprenticeship in childcare through Exeter College. I have been working as a nursery nurse for the last year, but have experience in babysitting and after school childcare for the past 4 years. My aim is to start private nannying from May/June this year. I am trained in paediatric first aid and have a level 2 in food and hygiene. As well as nannying, I am also a vocal coach for primary school ages and support child develop through creative activities and education. My name is Gemma and I'm 29 and a mum to a 9 year old girl. I'm friendly, reliable, organized and enthusiastic. I like to learn new things and I am a keen learner. I am very committed and caring and like meeting new people. I also have a very calm and patient nature. I have looked after children of all ages as well as having my own child and looked after children with special needs. I have worked with young/ preschool age children doing work experience in all types of settings I have done work experience as a playworker at a pre school Exmouth for a year and a half, work experience as a playworker at a Playgroup in Exmouth for 4 months, 1 weeks work experience at a Day Nursery in Exeter, 1 weeks work experience at a Infants School in Exmouth and an after School club assistant at a Primary School in Exmouth for 1 month paid but left as found out I was pregnant and couldn't cope with having 2 jobs at once. I also did an NVQ level 2 in early years care and education section, 1,2,3. I currently hold a DBS with a foster care agency as a foster care support worker to look after and take out foster children who all have additional needs.

| I am a qualified level 3 Early Years Practitioner and Early Years Educator (EYE) and have experience working in an after school and holiday club for 5 years with children aged from 3 up to 12. I also ran a family time session on Mondays and Fridays, making parents, babies and toddlers feel welcome, giving them a variety of activities to entertain them along with healthy snacks and hot beverages for the adults. I am currently working in a nursery, mostly in the preschool room caring for children aged 3-4 but also work in the toddler and baby room when needed. I have been working here for around a year now. | I’m good at multi tasking and managing stressful situations. I’m smart can help with homework and can help you with your children’s assignments. I’m patient and can be good to talk to and a good listener. I can good time management skills and will be early and happy to work overtime if you’re running late. Can work anytime after school monday to friday, and all day saturday sunday. Or any days/all days in half terms and summer holiday.
