After School Care Hartlepool

| I am Rodiat and I live in Hartlepool. I work as a babysitter/nanny and I've been engaging in childcare for over 2 years. I've got the experience of taking care of newly born babies, toddlers and teenagers. I'm able to provide support and care to new mothers, and mothers that previously had children. I do overnight care, morning, afternoon, and evenings. I can help with your baby's personal care, feeding, educative activities, going on walks, playgrounds, etc. I also do pick ups and drop offs.

| I have worked for a year as a volunteer in my local nursery, I had the role of escorting the children to lunch and I was their reading mentor, helping improve and assess reading scores and filling in their diaries for the parents. I have worked as a hired babysitter in my hometown of Oxford, looking after children at the weekend or after school. The youngest I have experience babysitting is 3 years old, the youngest I have cared for in my nursery role was just over 1 years. I also love to bake with the children I am caring for so if that is something they and you would be interested in, ask me about it :) I also had a child speech and language development course in my degree, so any extra reading/communication help a child may need I can cater to. I enjoy working with children as it is a very rewarding job. Every day is different. I take children to local groups, school runs, after school activities, and evening babysitting. Nursery duties are included in my work day as a nanny.

| A bit of background about me: I started working and volunteering with children when I was just 14 years old in an after school club. I continued volunteering until I was 16 years old, I then went on to study childcare and developmental studies at college, alongside working in a pub, a dog kennels and a fab Montessori nursery! After college I went on to study early years primary education at university until 2020. Both my college course and university course included lots of volunteering experience in both nurseries and schools. After coronavirus I started working in a lovely pub in Leeds, I worked there for just over 2 years as the assistant manager. I recently spent 3 months volunteering as an English language tutor for 3-8 year olds in a lovely school in Denia, Spain. I have worked with children for the past 9 years and have loved every minute of it. I have a 8 year old son who I am the main career for. I have reached foundation degree level within early years and now want to focus on providing quality care to families. I have worked with children aged between birth and 16 years finding it very easy to communicate and get along with all of them. I have worked in children's centre's as well as playgroups and after school clubs. Over my time working within early years I can honestly say there is not one part of it that I did not like.

| I have looked after my 2 younger brothers as both parents have worked; which involved taking and picking them up from school, looking after them after school and also during school holidays. I have also had experience while completing my childcare courses and degree in nurseries and schools. Working with a range of ages from newborn to 12.
