After School Care North West Leicestershire

| Registered childminder in Melbourne. I also do evening babysitting and overnight care in the child’s own home environment. Melbourne infants and juniors pick ups, puddle ducks and kangaroos pick ups. Currently I have availability for before/after school care and baby/preschool care. Tax relief vouchers accepted. 2,3&4yr old government funding. Home from home childcare. Homemade meals. Toddler groups attended with preschool children through the week during term time. School holiday care available for children aged 4-14yrs School holiday availability includes private school holidays. I love working with children especially getting out and about in the fresh air. I enjoy cooking and love cooking from scratch. I have lots of newborn experience. I've also had experience with multiples, special needs, and allergies. At Chickadee Childminding we attend lots of local groups, go to soft play and spend lots of time having fun outside. We do lots of craft, cooking and colouring on rainy days.

For the last 6 years I have looked after many children of different ages. I have 2 step children who I take to school and have after school. I have always looked after my younger family members and family friends. Up until the last month I have looked after twin girls aged 2 years old. I was recommended to this family from a family friend and I have enjoyed every second being with them. I love doing play activities, days out and basic teaching games.

| My childminding experience began with a new sibling 10 years my junior, many moons ago! Since then I continued looking after friends and families' little ones, whether for birthday parties of 10 pre-teens, weekend babysittings, volunteering through STEM and teaching afternoon classes the wonders and fun of science. I have have had the privilege to be both a scouts girl and a camp counselor for girls aged 7-16, which was so rewarding and fulfilling to be able to give back.

| I qualified with a diploma in childcare in 2004. Since then I have worked in a variety of settings including a school, nursery and children's own homes. I have been with my current family for 6 years now. I would like to continue working for them, so I am looking for something that fits around the hours I look after them. I care for them on a Wednesday and Thursday afters school 3-6. I wish to leave my office job (that is not suited to my personality ( on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday. I am Ofsted registered, have a current first aid certificate, driving license and liability insurance. I am looking for part time, after school, or 2-3 days a week. When the children I care for were younger we would often go to toddler groups, the park, farms, museums day trips and do lots of art and craft activities. My role has changed as they have got older which now requires me to take them to after school clubs and cook their evening meals. I am married and we have a 4 yeah old boy. In my spare time I enjoy taking my son to the theatre, for walks in the country side. And when I have time I enjoy painting and jewellery making.

| I have been working as a nursery practitioner for around 5 years, caring for children from 0-5 along with experience with children 5+ years in after school clubs that I have helped run (collection from school, extra curricula activities with the children). I have recently graduated from university, having received a first class honours degree in Education Studies. For the next year I will be completing a teacher training course, and will therefore be a qualified teacher come July 2022. I am looking for part time evening work to support me financially as I endure a non-paid year this year due to the teacher training course. I have had extensive experience and have devoted the last 5 years of my life to building a career that allows young children to develop and thrive in the best way possible. I will be available to work from 5pm onwards, ideally not every evening but definitely at least 2 evenings a week. | In my spare time my main hobby is horse riding which I have done since I can remember, I spend my time riding for different people schooling their horses and working on competition yards. I studied at Loughborough high school following on from Fairfield and finished A-levels at Ashby School, currently going into my third year at Nottingham Trent studying Business Management and Marketing. Whilst being at Nottingham I have spent a year being an after school nanny for a family with a young child, which I am continuing next academic year also . | I am currently a private nanny for a family in Foremarke, I look after 3 boys aged 3,5 and 6. I provide before and after school care. Before that I worked again as a private nanny for a family in Derby, I looked after 1 boy aged 3. Here I provided all day care 7am-7pm 2 days a week and after nursery care on a Tuesday. I have 3 months experience working in a nursery. I am qualified to level 2 in childcare, and also have my safeguarding training. I’ve got experience with babies, a family friend had twins 18 months ago and I regularly look after them and have done since they were 5 weeks old.

| As one of the oldest of 9 children, I have grown up surrounded by children of all ages from new born to teenage years, My parents have always been big on involvement, so since a young age I’ve baby sat my siblings taken them to swimming lessons, out for afternoon cake etc. So I feel I have a more broad experience of childcare which I feel I’d beneficial to the right family. | I am a friendly, confident and caring individual. I used to work in an after school club and therefore am fully experienced with a variety of ages. I enjoy working with children and will do a good job of ensuring there are entertained and looked after.

| I am the eldest of three in my family with a substantial age gap of 8 years between myself and my youngest sister. I spent a lot of time taking care and helping to feed/wash/ look after her when she was young and believe this may have given me some experience babysitting. I am a swim instructor of 6 years and work with young (3 upwards) to adolescent kids on a regular basis which has also given me some skills and experience teaching and looking after children. In previous years I volunteered in a special needs school and completed a placement term in a primary school assisting teachers with their classes so I believe between my own family experiences and external experience I would be a good babysitting candidate. I am also a doctoral researcher (from Ireland) in Lboro University which occupies most of my morning hours but I would love to engage and help out families with some babysitting hours in the afternoon/evening/night .

| I started babysitting when I was 13, my auntie was a babysitter so she started to bring me to her jobs and allowed me to help until eventually friends of her clients started to contact me when she was not available. I babysat on weekends and after school from ages 13-16 until I was old enough to get a part time job. I’ve taken care of children in a range of ages. The youngest I’ve taken care of is an eight month old baby and the oldest is 12 years old. I am hands on and will ensure they are safe and get all the help they need.
