After School Care Bury St Edmunds

| I am a third year Politics student at UCL, and I have just moved back to Bury St Edmunds. I worked as a live-in au pair in Rome for a few months in 2017. I worked with four children; triplet 12 year old girls and a 13 year old boy. I helped the children with English and music homework, took them to their after school activities like horse riding and rowing, looked after them in the evenings once or twice a week when their parents when out for dinner which included eating with them and putting them to bed. I also spent time with them at the weekends which included playing games, going swimming and reading. I also regularly babysit for my three little cousins who are 6, 3 and 2 years old when I am back home from university. This mainly consists of picking the children up from school and playgroups, preparing them dinner, giving them a bath and getting them ready for bed and playing games and creating activities for them. I have a few months experience as a teaching assistant at a special school, and I am going to start Primary teacher training in September. I'm very confident, organised and reliable but I love having a laugh and a joke with the children that I'm working with.

| Hello, I'm Alex and I'm an experienced babysitter with lots of varied experiences of working with children! I have worked as an Early Years Practitioner at Clifton Tots Nursery in Bristol for 6 years, where I worked with children aged 0-5 (though mostly babies). While working there I earned an Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Early Learning and Childcare and took part in Pediatric First Aid and Early Years Literacy courses. I am comfortable working with multiple and very young children and I'm happy to sing, play games, go on outings, do messy activities etc. I have also worked as an au pair in France (including some housework), a Mother's Help in Bristol and an ESL teacher for children aged 6-12 in Taiwan. While travelling in Japan, I also babysat for a 6-year-old boy, led English conversation classes for local kids and adults and did a bit of pet sitting (I love animals and I am happy to help take care of pets if needed). Beyond that, I've volunteered as a Sunday School teacher in Bristol, Bury St Edmunds and Taiwan, tutored (French in the UK, English in Taiwan) and taught an After School French Club at a primary school in Bristol. And, of course, I've done lots of babysitting, including daytime, evening and overnight.

| I am a young and caring 18 year old, I have looked after and cared for my siblings for a few years now, as both of my parents were working, I would take them to school and then look after them after school. I see myself as a very calm and caring person, i enjoy looking after children and have always wanted to work with and care for children.
