After School Care East Staffordshire

| Hi, I am currently living back at home on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire since graduating earlier this Summer. During my time at University in Edinburgh I was a nanny for two 3 and 6 year old children and enjoyed collecting them from school and nursery, playing with them at home and taking them to and from after-school activities. I also have extensive experience caring for my 7-month old niece having done so since she was a newborn. I have looked after my younger cousins since they were at a young age so I am good with children at all ages and enjoy engaging with them whether through reading, playing games, or being outdoors. I am also very responsible and have many years of work experience demonstrating that I am dedicated and hardworking. I have my own car for transportation and I am available for after-school or evening babysitting work on a regular basis. For the last 6 years I have looked after many children of different ages. I have 2 step children who I take to school and have after school. I have always looked after my younger family members and family friends. Up until the last month I have looked after twin girls aged 2 years old. I was recommended to this family from a family friend and I have enjoyed every second being with them. I love doing play activities, days out and basic teaching games.

Melbourne infants and juniors pick ups, puddle ducks and kangaroos pick ups. Currently I have availability for before/after school care and baby/preschool care. Tax relief vouchers accepted. 2,3&4yr old government funding. Home from home childcare. Homemade meals. Toddler groups attended with preschool children through the week during term time. School holiday care available for children aged 4-14yrs School holiday availability includes private school holidays. I love working with children especially getting out and about in the fresh air. I enjoy cooking and love cooking from scratch. I have lots of newborn experience. I've also had experience with multiples, special needs, and allergies. At Chickadee Childminding we attend lots of local groups, go to soft play and spend lots of time having fun outside. We do lots of craft, cooking and colouring on rainy days.

| I am a friendly, confident and caring individual. I used to work in an after school club and therefore am fully experienced with a variety of ages. I enjoy working with children and will do a good job of ensuring there are entertained and looked after.

| I have raised my twin sons single handed since they were young. I also, worked and completed a degree in education whilst they were young. I have previously worked in a primary school for 3 years and took part in school experience whilst doing my degree. I have also looked after a friend's children for 18 months after school and during the holidays whilst she worked. I have previously worked in care for the elderly and i am a qualified pharmacy dispenser. I currently work for the NHS a few days a week in a GP's surgery so have basic medical knowledge. I have a good knowledge of education and can help my own children with their homework and enjoy improving my own learning. I will be going in to teaching in the near future and am looking to help other parents who need fun and nurturing childcare so they can feel at ease when they need to work or do other daily activities. I have two dogs of my own so pets are not a problem. I enjoy cooking, art, reading and swimming. I really enjoy having fun but also know when there should be structure and rules.
