Hi my name is Lauren and I am 20. I am very interested to apply for this job. I have lots of experience with dogs and have been around them all my life. Some examples are: I have dog Sat for my bosses dogs and she has 12 of all different types and size and ranging from new born puppies right up to 11 years load. That involved walking them all, feeding, training and just being with them. I have sat for another woman who had 3 dogs again a range of different type of breeds and doing the same thing. I work with dogs as I am a dog groomer in Malton so I have experience with handling the dogs. I have also been at uni to do some canine behaviour and training, so I understand the dogs behaviour a lot more now because of this course. I have also done animal care and animal management courses at Norton college. I also have 3 dogs at home again a range of different breeds and I do a lot of work with my miniature poodle and he is very good with other dogs. I have also done a lot of work experiences such as: 2 weeks at Bielby hearing dogs which involved walking the dogs, working with them, and cleaning out their kennels. I have also done 2 weeks at birdsall hunting kennels working with their dogs. I live just outside of Malton near castle Howard and I can drive so travelling is not a problem.
