We're looking for a live-out nanny to look after our two young children in Porthcawl from October 2023. We're looking for someone who has experience of working with children and who loves helping kids develop by learning, having fun and exploring the world around them. Hours We're ideally looking for a nanny to work two full days per week with shorter hours on the other three days. On the two longer days, we'd need help with teatime. On the shorter days, we'd want help with pick-up and drop-off to nursery and then to school when the kids are a bit older. In the holidays, we'd ideally be looking for full time support. These hours would of course be flexible depending on your own preferences and salary would reflect the need for flexibility. Location We'll be based in Porthcawl and would like a live-out nanny to provide childcare in our home. If you'd be willing to occasionally travel with us to other locations in the UK and abroad, that would be great, but it's not essential. Pay Salary will be competitive and we'd want to ensure you have a good work-life balance in terms of holiday and time off. Activities We'd want you to have fun with the boys, maybe going to parks, the seaside when the weather's nice, soft play, classes and doing activities both they and you will enjoy. We'd like you to plan activities that support their development and for you to encourage them to eat healthily. We'd ask you to prepare food for the boys and to tidy up play activities, but no additional housework would be expected within the role.
