I have a lovely 13 month-old boy, who I am looking for a bit of help/assistance with looking after him. We are a family of 3 (myself, husband and the little one) but unfortunately have little family around that can help! We are based in Portobello.
My son is very kind, playful, smiley and alert young boy. He loves nursery rhymes, music, playtime and lots of interaction. He rarely cries (only when hungry or overtired). He however struggles a bit with his sleep overnight, leaving me very exhausted most days, hence the need for some help!
Looking for a part-time nanny/childminder, who can assist us 2x weekly (8-9 hours per day) on Wednesdays and Fridays.
We are a multi-lingual family (French, German, English) and would love our nanny/minder to speak French or German (but this is not essential).

Hi, I am living in Edinburgh EH15 and I need someone to take care of 2 children. It will primarily be for our younger child Finlay (9yr in summer) who arrives home at around 3.30pm. Until around 5.30pm. Our older child Katie (12yr in summer) is more self sufficient. Finlay is autistic with a PDA profile. He attends an Enhanced Support Base class at Royal Mile Primary and travels by taxi to/ from school. He is highly cognitive. Katie attends George Heriots and will mostly travel by bus or with us. Key is keeping Finlay active/ entertained and fed until we return from work (or finish work if WFH). It does not need to be 5 days (we can flexible with our own work if necessary) and so exact days/ times/ rate are all negotiable for the right candidate. Start after return to school post summer holidays (either last week of August or first week of Sept).
