Hello, I am a student midwife. As part of placement for my degree and once I am qualified, I will work in a hospital doing shifts that include nights and days. The hours will be roughly 730am until 8pm. I am a single mum and I need someone that will cover the hours where nursery doesn’t. My son goes to nursery weekdays 8am - 6pm. I am looking for someone to cover 7am - 9am and then about 5.30pm - 8.30pm for the weekday, day shifts I will be doing. I will need someone from about 7.30pm until 8am for night shifts. Due to not knowing when my shifts will be, I need someone that can be flexible. During my time away, I will need someone to drop off / pick my son up from nursery, bring him home and get him ready for bed (or ready for nursery) and maybe give him a snack. I will put him to bed when I get home from day shifts unless he chooses he wants to be put to bed by you. I will be looking to start two weeks before I’m due to go to work on placement, which will be for introducing you to my son. You will be able to get to know us as a family and see how my son likes things to be done and also his preferences. You may come with me for nursery pick ups, so my son gets used to you doing that with us before you do it on your own. My sons nursery is 13 minutes away from our home and I will pay mileage. I will have a ring doorbell camera to let me know when my son has left our home and when he gets back. I will also have cameras around our home. This is for safety reasons only.
