After school care needed for my nearly 9 year old son. Ideally experienced with SEN. Required for Monday and Wednesday to collect from school until 5pm.

We are a neurodivergent family who practise attachment parenting. We need a childcarer that understands these differences and practises. Our toddler has 3 older brothers, one of whom is unfortunately out of school at the moment, so will be at home at the times the childcarer will be here. We need someone 2 or 3 times a week for a few hours at home to prepare our toddler for pre-school. Dad works at home; but is used to working with noise in the house, so play doesn't have to be especially quiet. Mum is usually at home but may go out whilst the childcarer is here. We have a garden and there is a park in our area. Our toddler will ask for snacks and will need to be changed when they have an accident.

This would primarily be for before and after school care, including morning drop off & after school pick up 3 days per week on a flexible basis (different days each week, depending on shift pattern), with the potential for school holiday care also. I am a staff nurse and work irregular shift patterns. This would mean you would need to be flexible with availability. Earliest start would be 6am and latest finish would be 9:30pm. A typical day would involve getting 6 year old to school in morning, and picking him up after school, doing homework with him, sometimes taking him to karate, providing dinner for both kids and putting 6 yo to bed. The teenager is very self sufficient. I have a big bouncy friendly dog, if you could also walk her that would be amazing but not definitely required. I am looking for someone I can rely on and someone who is happy to work around my daft shift patterns. You will be given at least 3 weeks notice of when I will need you.
