We are looking for a reliable nanny to provide childcare for our child, L, who is a very mobile 14 month old! You should have few years of experience. We live outside Nailsworth with our cat and 4 ducks. Childcare is for L during normal working hours Wednesday - Friday. L two older siblings (8 and 11) will occasionally be around after school. We live in a beautiful area with lots of walks on our doorstep. We would like you to have your own transport and to take L on outings and to some groups where he can interact with other toddlers. Option for right person to stay in self contained accommodation from Wed -Fri if desired.

We are looking for someone who would like a long-term role as an integral part of the family support, and we hope you will be open to evolving with how needs change over time. e.g. helping with school pick-ups when our eldest goes to school or helping take her swimming/other activities on the days you are here. From July to September, both our daughters will require childcare on Mondays & Tuesdays. My wife is on maternity leave and will primarily focus on our newborn (then 6 months), but there may be a blend of looking after either throughout the day. In September, our eldest will start school. We will need help with daytime care of our then 10-month-old, school pick-up and after-school care. We have 10 am to 7 pm in mind each day (18 hrs per week), but we are open to discussing the optimal arrangement with you. We aim to keep it to a consistent Monday-Tues throughout to help us all plan. Our 4-year-old is very sweet, kind and switched on. She does need lots of stimulation and benefits from experience and strength of character in her carers sometimes. She has attended childcare from an early age and she is a pleasure to be with and look after :). She is bi-lingual with French spoken in the house, so any ability/desire to speak French is a bonus but not at all necessary. We live in a comfortable 4-bed detached with garden.
