We are a friendly family of four in Lisvane looking for an after-school nanny and housekeeper to help with our two lovely girls (5 and 7). Hours are 3-6pm Mon-Fri during school term times (but there can be some flexibility for the right candidate). There will also be opportunities for extra hours during school holidays if this is of interest. My husband and I work full-time in busy jobs, I work mostly from home but need some help with childcare and keeping on top of everything in the house! We are looking for someone kind, fun, friendly, pro-active, organised and reliable. Duties include: - picking up the children from local school (max 10 min walk from our house). - organising indoor and outdoor activities for the children. We have a lovely big garden and lots to do in the house. We also live near a park/ playground. - helping the children with any homework/ music practice. - taking the children to local after-school activities, e.g. ballet class. - preparing evening meals for children/ family. - preparing packed lunches for next day. - helping with light household chores when they arise such as putting laundry away, emptying dishwasher, feeding the dog etc. - helping the children keep their play areas and bedrooms tidy. As mentioned, we have a dog (a sweet bouncy puppy) so you must be comfortable with animals, but you won’t be required to walk her etc.

We are looking for a nanny/housekeeper to look after our two children (6 and 8 years old) for around 20 hours a week from June 2021. We are looking for someone to provide a stimulating, active and caring environment for our well behaved children, taking them to local activities and groups as well as doing arts and crafts, music and games. Both children attend the local primary school (Lisvane), so duties involve school pick up (a short walk) as well as taking the children to some after school activities (all currently within walking distance or online). We would also ideally like someone who is happy to help with some light housekeeping (tidying and cleaning, laundry and changing bedding). Hours would ideally be from the middle of the day (around 1pm) until early evening each day (5.30 or 6pm), but we can be a little flexible on exact times and days to fit with your needs. We currently have a part time nanny who would be happy to discuss our family with you (we love her to bits, but she is moving on to a new career from June). We look forward to hearing from you.
