I am writing to apply for a position of tutor. Here by Enclosed is my resume, which describes my academic and professional experiences to date.
By building mutual understanding with my students, I normally equip them to understand complex topics. In addition, I am currently serving as a peer tutor at MITT College, where I first by self-learning skill, comprehend the theories and then manifest my teaching ability by tutoring my fellow classmates.
Moreover, I have helped one student of grade 9, suffering from dyslexia, not only to gain academic excellence but also to become a motivated and confident individual. Tutoring him was a new kind of challenge for me as he was, unfortunately, and unknowingly, labelled as a mentally retarded by most of the people including his teachers and friends, which he isn’t. Therefore, I understand his core problems and then tried to eliminate it by using specialized methods; one of them was suggested by Liz Weaver who has helped many parents overcoming dyslexia of their beloved child.
I believe that my academic background along with my professional experiences provides a solid foundation for any tutoring position.
