Hey there! My name is Josie and I am in my last year of completing a degree in Environmental Science (Honours) with a minor in Biological Sciences.
My degree is built upon core calculus, chemistry and physics components with a strong emphasis in biology, statistics and report writing. I have professional work experience in aquatic sciences, report writing and fisheries research.
Most importantly I enjoy teaching and have over 7 years of experience working and teaching with all youth of all ages. This experience comes from jobs in parks and recreation, swim instructing & lifeguarding and volunteering with Big Brothers & Big Sisters.

I have minimal tutoring experience but I have tutored fellow classmates while in high school many times and my teacher has even asked me to teach a concept during class while he was out sick. I am very good at finding different ways to explain ideas so that depending on the student, they can find a to understand the concept. I am a student at Université de Saint-Boniface studying sciences so I am fluent in French and have a great understanding of all science subjects. I am passionate not only about teaching and working alongside children, but also teaching and tutoring adolescents as well as adults.
