| Hello! My name is Emily and I am a 24 year old university student. I am studying Education in the senior stream (high school) at the University of Winnipeg with a major in English and a minor in Religion and Cultures. I spent the first 3 years at university taking Spanish classes, studying mainly grammar and conversation, but also Spanish literature. I am passionate about learning, but I also realize that knowledge doesn't always come easily to many students (as it took me many years to appreciate school). I enjoy tutoring students of all ages in French, as I have an interest in teaching students my cultural heritage. I also find it rewarding to teach specific concepts and observe how students master these concepts, and apply them. I also feel that as much as my goal is to teach students, I enjoy learning from them about how to be a better teacher.

I have cared for children of all ages for the past 15-16 years. While babysitting I assisted with homework and also have experience teaching children on the Autism spectrum.
