Special Needs Care in Pierrefonds

| I have a BA in both Psychology and Early Childhood Education. I am a happy go lucky, warm and energetic person with lots of patience. I spent ten years working in group homes with moderately to severely intellectually handicappped children and young adults. I currently work part time at the Angelman Respite Center as an animator. I worked for many years taking care of one patient with dementia, and a second one with Alzheimers, involved in all aspects of their care. I also took care of a little boy from age 6 months to 5 years two days a week for four years. I have lots of love to give and now that my children are grown up, would really love to help in any way possible.

| I don't have a paid experience in this kind of job but I am familiar and knowledgeable with caring those in need of special care. I am a Pharmacist in the Philippines, thus, we learned that provision of such care for them will improve their quality of life.

I worked for ten years in group homes with moderate to severely intellectually handicapped children and young adults. I also worked part time for over five years with an Alzheimers patient and also a person with dementia. With the dementia person, I was responsible for every aspect of his care including the running of his home. I spent four years taking care of a young boy two days a week (6 months old till he started kindergarten. I currently work part time as an animator at the Angelman Respite Center which is a center for both children and adults with intellectual disabilities. (weekends) I enjoy working with both young children and the elderly. I would be open to any position which has a salary of $15-$20.
