Special Needs Care in Laval

| I have 6 siblings(one of which is autistic) so I love being around children, I love to cook, I can help out in any way with chores, I am good at de-escalating tense situations, and I'm used to managing in hectic, busy environments. I've been an auxiliary nurse for a little over 6 years and have had the privilege of working in rehabilitation, hospital, home environments and more while getting to know, understand, and work with children, teens, adults, and seniors. My long-term goal is to finish nursing school as a RN and work in trauma I'm looking for morning and afternoon shifts (anything before 3pm), I am able to work weekend as well Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, the soonest I will be available to began working is February 8th

| I am still a current student at Vanier College in the Special Care Counselling program. I have one more year left in my studies. My experience has been in volunteer work as well as stages in a school and another for a rehabilitation centre. Although I may be fairly new to the field, I am extremely passionate about my career path and am looking to grow and learn from those with special needs. I am a committed person and loyal to my job. Since every individual is so different, adapting myself from one situation to another is where I found to be one of my biggest strengths in this field. I look forward to growing as an individual around my clients and becoming a better special care counsellor as each day goes by.

| I have been working with special needs kids for more than 7 years, and this is not what I do , this is who I am, I can't see myself doing another job in my life, it's my message to the world to raise awareness and accept every individual on this land.

| I have an Early childhood Education Degree and a Special Care Counselling diploma. I have been working with various types of disabilities for the last 9 years such as Autism Spectrum, ADHD, ADD, children who have learning disabilities. I also have experience with Applied Behavior Therapy where I have conducted therapy one on one with verbal and non verbal children. Frequently these children had many speech devices, lots of behaviours and oppositional. I have also experience with conducting a social skills emotional group where I have provided a Behaviour intervention plan with specific goals. I have supported these children at school, in daycares, clinics and at their home. I also have experience in being a shadow at daycares where I would work one on one with each child. I have helped the child with their day to day routine, written a Behaviour intervention and work on several needs that I have observed that needed to be improved.
