In addition to my education, I have a range of experience working with children and families. I worked as a nanny for a family with their first child from 8 months old for one year, supporting daily care, including meals, walks, play, nap routines, bedtime, etc. I also helped with household tasks during nap times while always prioritizing the child’s safety and needs. I built a strong, trusting relationship with the family.
I also worked with a family of five, caring primarily for a 14-month-old with cytomegalovirus (CMV), supporting physio routines, play, and specific feeding needs. I assisted with light household duties and completed multiple overnight stays, gaining experience with bedtime routines for all children.
For the past year, I’ve worked as an Infant Room RECE in a childcare centre and currently serve as Designate to Supervisor. I have experience with allergies and various developmental stages. While I value group care, I’m seeking a more personalized 1-on-1 role.
I enjoy crocheting, being outdoors, and keeping a clean space. I can provide a Vulnerable Sector Check, First Aid & CPR-C, immunization records, TB test results, and references upon request.
