I have lots of experience working with children of all ages, stemming from my babysitting experience, as well as other work experience- especially teaching swimming lessons. Personally, I have had a lot of experience working with children. My first job was babysitting my little sister, I soon moved on to babysitting throughout my neighborhood. & in middle school, I volunteered as a reading buddy through my school's community outreach program.
Meanwhile, I spent 7yrs as a camper at an overnight camp, then 1 month in the camp's Leadership (LIT/CIT) Program. & lastly 2yrs as a cabin counselor to children ages 7-16, & also a certified lifeguard.

I love children. I picked working in a daycare for co-op in high school and got hired as a result of my hard working and my emotional connection to them. I took time to be a mother and then watched my nephew at my home taking him to Early Years centres (as I had with my own) and teaching him skills as well as feeding and changing him. Since graduation I have been cleaning houses and have been supplying as a nanny for a 6 month old. I am excited to connect with the whole family to where we have a close relationship. I have worked with kids in my placements with developmental challenges and my children also have ADHD and anxiety. Due to this I feel very passionate about getting to know the child as an individual, what they love and using it to teach them through a lense that they deem exciting.
