I have experience as a teaching assistant, supervising children 7 and under. I was also a full time care giver to my autistic nephew until I moved to Canada. I cared for him since birth until he turned 6 and this has given me many new skills and shows how adaptable I can be. I like to help children become super confident and outgoing, ween them away from iPads and other electronics as much as possible. I’m always wanting to let my “big kid” side out so playing games is always fun. I can prepare good, nutritious meals from scratch and this helps with my own weight loss (used to be almost 300 lbs, lost around 100, still going). I don’t mind preparing family meals if parents are busy. I understand some children have difficulties adapting to a nanny and I will always be as supportive as possible and always try to make the change as smooth as possible. I really enjoy teaching children new things, I was training to become a teacher so will be able to educate to an extent!
