Hi my name is Susy. I am looking for a full time position as a sole charge Nanny. I have 25 years of experience looking after children in various settings. I worked in London as a Nanny for 13 years. I also have 7 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator in Toronto. As a Nanny I consider myself to be fun, firm and creative. I am a good cook and strongly believe in a healthy diet. I always have a good routine in place which is flexible and fluid to allow for all eventualities and the growth of the child. I try to keep my working days varied and fun with enough time in the home to allow the child to feel comfortable and settled. I am proud of my ability to 'read' children and get the best behaviour out of them. Children in my care are always happy and settled with few, if any, tantrums. I love to sing and dance and encourage my children to join me in this (I may not be the best singer but the children don't mind!). This often leads to much hilarity and spontaneous discos! I also do a lot of activities such as reading, imaginary play, baking and art to name a few. I also enjoy the outdoors and engage the children in active play.
