We are an energetic fun-loving family living in Payneham South and need help looking after 3 children from August. We have a baby who will be 8 months, a cheerful yet strong-willed 2.5 year old princess and a sensitive and curious 4.5 year old cat-boy. We are looking for an experience, reliable and empathetic nanny to care for our young ones once mum returns to work part time. We are also planning to expand our family in the future so we would like to work with someone who will be able to continue with us for years to come. Regular hours: 8:30am to 5:30pm Thursday and Friday. Overtime: Some flexibility in the regular time would be good but advanced notice will be given if any overtime is required. Occasional Care: Other than the regular time, additional shifts may be available for half days or weekends. Skill requirements: - Up to date first aid training and certification - Light meal prep. Mostly microwaving, fruit salad, sandwiches and maybe some scrambled eggs. - Provide activities to engage and challenge them. - Have experience in being the sole supervisor of up to 3 children. It's likely that for most of the day, you will be only caring for 2 children. Flexibility in picking up the 3rd child from childcare/school would be good. - Have experience in looking after an infant - We don't expect the house will be sparkling clean when we get home but we would appreciate someone who can encourage the kids to pack up after themselves and when they fail, tidy after them. Each applicant will be assessed based on individual merits as a whole, you may not need to fulfil each of the following criteria.
