We have a young 2yr old girl who has been diagnosed with early developmental delay and probably has ASD. She has been going to therapy and progressing well with improved emotional regulation and verbal communication skills. A key challenge we are currently working to overcome is her social anxiety. We are keen to find a nanny who can help her grow in social confidence by taking her to activities and environments where she is encouraged to interact and communicate in the community. Due to our girl's social anxiety we anticipate the initial nanny care will be some short 'at home' meetings. And if things progress well and a relationship forms it will turn into a more substantial nanny arrangement - multiple 1/2 days then potentially full days. Most of the care will be done in our house but where possible we would like her to be taken to activities to promote social interaction.
