I’m currently looking for an educator to provide in-home care for my six-year-old daughter, E, who is in Grade 1 and registered through Enhance Day Care.
I work shift-based employment, with shifts offered on an accept-or-decline basis. This means I’m able to check your availability before confirming work, allowing flexibility for both of us.
Care requirements may include:
School morning routines and drop-offs
School pick-ups and afternoon/evening routines
Occasional weekend care
Early mornings, evenings, and occasional longer days depending on roster requirements
Hours are generally around 20-30 hours per week, though this can vary depending on my work schedule. Shifts often run over the time allocated and often finish earlier than allocated also. School holiday care is usually quite limited. However i am usually rostered to many shifts requiring either before or after school care and sometimes both.
On weekends, I’m happy for outings such as parks, swimming, indoor play centres, or similar activities, and I’m happy to cover the cost of approved outings in addition to your agreed hourly rate.
To be eligible for the role, you would need:
An ABN
Occurrence certificate three in childcare early education or above qualification.
Willingness to register with Enhance for timesheet processing and payment purposes
Registration through Enhance allows timesheets to be submitted directly through the service and enables access to Child Care Subsidy through Centrelink.
