His mum will only be able to join mid August hence the support request. He’s a happy boy and does not have high needs, just needs lots of attention and a sense of safety in his new environment.

We also have a friendly and social little toy cavoodle so loving dogs is important. Hours would be 12 to 3pm each week day and eventually an evening for our weekly date nights. A. is non-speaking and has learned to communicate by spelling out words pointing to one letter at a time on a letter board or stencil. A is very smart, she loves maths, horse riding, reading, art, hiking, music, dancing, swimming, the beach and most of all writing poetry. The person will pick up A. from school, help her at home with her after school routine, do an activity (swim, hike, physio, OT) then do a bit of school work before dinner and bed routine, or provide support in activities Saturday or Sunday. A. needs almost full support with her personal care and life skills, as she continues to build her own independence. This is a great opportunity for anyone studying autism, occupation or speech, especially relating to communication, or if you have an interest working with autistics, to learn about the method we use called RPM - suited to someone wanting to learn who wiorks wit or has interest in working The days are flexible (and can change with schedules such as UNI).
