Update: Looking for start early July Hello, we are looking for a nanny who would like to help us out taking care of our two sons (9 months and 3 months old) during weekdays (Mornings from 7 or 8 am to 3 or 4pm, exact hours to be confirmed) from early July 2024. Hours can be flexible and some Wednesdays afternoon off if needed. Experience and references are a plus. We are very excited to find the right nanny for our kids. FYI we also have two small dogs (italian greyhounds) that are very friendly and mostly stay away from our babies doing their own stuff (sunbathing on our back deck mostly). Thank you

I’m a Business Owner/CEO who is a single mum to two delightful and happy children – a 9 year old girl, and a 6 year old boy – who live half the time at my house in a week on / week off arrangement. I have a dream that our children can have a mature maternal-like figure in their life who can support them during their critical schooling years, be an extended member of our family and be an all-round supporting pair of hands. This is a live out position, and would suit a mature aged or semi-retired person, perhaps even an empty nester. The role involves after school pickups, transportation to extra-curricular activities, supporting with homework, preparation of dinners, helping the children get ready for bed, etc. I am seeking someone who is willing to stay until the children are both in high school, possibly beyond. I like to raise my children with good values, firm but gentle discipline, teach them how to be independent while also loving to others, and encourage them to grow and develop into their full potential. The initial routine can be negotiated between us but would likely include Monday to Thursday nights every second week from 2.45pm – 6.45pm. Our extended family live interstate – so the odd babysitting night or shifts outside of the normal schedule may pop up from time to time, but this would be arranged in advance with you. Although the children only live with me every second week, for the right person, you would be invited support with cleaning and some housekeeping duties on the alternative week. The children attend school and most of their extra-curricular . I am offering a casual position with an attractive hourly rate, as well as superannuation, mileage and reimbursement for any other expenses. Prefer non-smoker. The start date is flexible, but may be as early as the 24th June 2024.
