I am looking for someone who can help me on evenings (circa 5 pm- 10 pm, I will be there, two children: girl 4 yo, boy 2 months) during weekdays every second week (my husband job requires him to travel every second week). I would prefer someone with at least a basic knowledge of Italian, as this is the language we speak at home, and comfortable with newborns. More details the job: We are a family of 4 living close to Redfern railway station, we speak English and Italian at home. Our girl is 4, talkative but also quite good at listening, and her little brother is just 2 months old. I am at home on maternity leave but soon my husband will need to travel for work every second week, therefore I need an extra pair of hands. The job is basically assisting with the usual evening routine (bath, dinner, bedtime). Tasks could be: helping with meal prep, picking up my daughter from daycare (in Erskineville, 2 km, car or bus), rocking my newborn, giving him the bottle, helping to bath my daughter and assist with bedtime. We have a routine for bedtime and she usually is asleep between 9 and 10 pm. If you are comfortable with these tasks and light house chores please do not hesitate to get in touch.
