Samantha Scott owner and operator of The Robins Nest Montessori school started as a lead teacher in a primary 3 to 6 years of age classroom at Alegria Montessori in Saint Petersburg Florida; moreover, 11 years prior to opening her own infant program solely based upon the Montessori philosophy for the first year of life.
The Robins Nest Montessori infant philosophy, an developmental approach to learning through the building of trusting relationships. By lowering an infant stress level between 3-7 months, it allows the child to absorb their environment and experiences during a highly formidable stage in their brain development. Relationship building skills are the foundation for learning. Consistent and loving responses to an infants cries will be there first trust and confidence building lesson That carries over in all levels of learning.
