Our goal is to provide the best quality care for children ages 15 months to 6 years old. We do this by providing a caring, nurturing and safe educational environment. The Learning Tree Preschool is a home like environment where children are encouraged to develop at their own pace. We believe our program has achieved the proper balance between academics and play. We believe that children learn best from meaningful play. Our play based and academically structured, child centered program reflects the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, self-help and aesthetic areas for the total development of the child. Meaningful play encourages curiosity, discovery and problem solving which allows individual growth and development of a positive self-image.

Our 3 year old twin girls have been going to the Learning Tree in Allston since they were 23 months. We couldn't be happier with our experience. The owner Maura and the director Ariana have created a kind and welcoming environment for all the children filled with a diverse range of learning experiences. Our twins regularly come home and tell us how fond they are of their teachers, in particular their toddler class teachers Becca and Bianca. The Learning Tree has taught them social skills, ways to articulate their emotions and how to be considerate of others. The academics are great, with our girls already learning the alphabet, counting, and engaging in science and arts projects on a daily basis.
It is also a lovely community of families from the entire Boston area. Overall we highly recommend the Learning Tree to other parents.

I have sent my son here since he was 15 months old. We love the space, the teachers and the programming. We have found this school to be safe, fun, and engaging. As a principal of K-8 Public School, I'm picky about child care and preschool, and we are happy! We'll send our infant twins here when they are old enough!
