About the business
The Giving Tree is a state licensed preschool and daycare program located at our former home in Warren. We offer quality care at a very affordable price. We are conveniently located right off I-696. We are open from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. We have a state approved nutritional program, friendly staff, and a top notch director with a Master's degree and over 30 years of experience. We provide a strong curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten. Our building is a clean, secure facility. The Giving Tree is a church-based child care program that is an extension of Liberty Church which helps to provide a positive Christian influence. We are large enough to serve you, yet our classroom sizes are small enough to give your child excellent care. We accept DHS payments. We offer a Free Great Start program for 4-year-old kids going into kindergarten who qualify, and an Early Head Start program for children up to 3-years-old. Prices are: $209 per week for children who are over 2-1/2 years of age and potty trained (daily rate is $50). $245 per week for children who are under 2-1/2 years of age. Prices subject to change. Families with more than one child receive a $10 per week discount on additional children if all children are enrolled full-time. Registration fee is $50. We also ask for one week deposit which will be applied to your last week of preschool.

This is the best school ever. I had issues with meals But without error you wouldn't know how to achieve. My twins have been attending this school since they were 2, their 4 now and I'm kind of sad I'll be having to leave the school soon. They learn, the teachers are wonderful especially Ms.Tina, the kids come home with a different story everyday. No teacher is the same & my babies love them all. Ms. Joy, Kris, Lindsey, Ava are awesome. If something is wrong throughout the day, they will call you & let you know right then. Very clean and welcoming. It's a family, Pastor Terry is also wonderful, he has kept me calm at times when I thought I wouldn't be able to pay for tuition. Thanks for everything.

My daughter has been going to preschool here for the past 5 months or so . She absolutely loves it and her teacher Ms. Angie is amazing . She's amazing at her job, takes a real interest , and cares about the kids . My daughter also goes to the daycare on the days she has no preschool . All the staff is great with kids and I highly recommend it .

Not as affordable as preferred.Does anyone else pay for a weeks tuition even if the child does not attend day care that week. Christmas week they are saying I still owe for that week even if my daughter will not be attending. I find that a little odd. I was told that is policy because they have to pay the staff still, even though there will be no staff on christmas day that week 12/25/2017. Why would I pay for their job when it doesnt benefit myself if my child is not in there? Is anyone else running into this situation?

Samantha, we love caring for your children. I'm sorry that this policy would cause you to leave us a bad review. It is a pretty standard policy in most every daycare center. It is also clearly spelled out in the contract that you signed when you enrolled your children. After six months, each child is allowed two weeks free tuition to use for vacation throughout the year.

My children have been going here for 4 years. I love it. The teachers are patient, loving and kind to the children. It is exciting everyday to see what they have learned and what activity did they bring home.

They have the best rates around. They have very convenient hours. My son went there the better part of a year. I do miss having him there.

I have a son with a little bit of special needs regarding his hands. The daycare workers at Giving Tree took the extra time to teach my son to teach my son the best way he could to write, cut with scissors, color, etc. When he cried, they were very attentive to his needs.
He would get upset if he didn't have class, not because he couldn't see his friends, but he loved his teachers.
Thank you for all the wonderful things you have done for my son and his confidence.

My son went to The Giving Tree from about 1 and a half until he started Kindergarten. The staff always treated my son well and they were very accommodating when it came to schedule changes and what not. Because of them, my son was more than ready for Kindergarten. I appreciate everything they taught him, including potty training.

Our son has been going to the Giving Tree since he was 2. He is now going on 4 in a few months. It was extremely hard for me to leave my child with anyone let alone daycare staff. I cried everyday in the beginning dropping my child off. The staff really helped me through this time and reassured me with phone calls and pictures of him playing. Our son loves the Giving Tree and wakes up asking to go. He loves and looks forward to show n tell day. The preschool program is awesome, he can spell his name, knows his address, identifies his numbers and letters, plus has learned to interact with others. This place and the staff have been a life saver to us and such a relief knowing our child is in good caring hands. We had a chance to put our son in a free preschool program but feel that he is comfortable here and is learning what he would be learning in a public school at this time. The cost is very reasonable and worth the peace of mind we feel everyday dropping him off.

We have been taking our kids here for 2 years and love the place. The teachers genuinely care for the kids. They have a great curriculum and are very affordable. I would recommend Giving Tree to anyone with young kids.

I was very disappointed. After reading these reviews I was expecting much better! It was dirty the staff was unfriendly . The director was rude and called the kids "crazy at lunch time" she also yelled at 2 kids infront of myself and my husband. We couldn't get out of there fast enough!

Rebecca, we ask that all potential clients come in the morning or at nap time. When you come during lunch things can be a little hectic trying to feed dozens of children, and it is difficult to give you the attention we want. I apologize for the bad experience.

We love The Giving Tree. My grandson is in the toddler program, and has grown and learned so much since he started. He loves the teachers and other kids, and is always enjoying himself when we pick him up.

My child began in the daycare and now is in the preschool class. The teachers have taught my child a lot. All of the teachers are attentive and caring. We love The Giving Tree!
