I'm very disappointed that my 5 year granddaughter had to experience her teacher hollering at her, which should not be done by any teacher. Also there was no apology of any sort. We do not know how long this could have been happening. Your staff needs to do better and have some more training on speaking with the kids. Also the manager or director needs to learn how to take care of situation when it's involving someone child.

Not every day will your child have a good day at school which is to be expected. There were too many incidences that raised concern. The lack of communication and organization overall is disappointing leading to this poor review.

At first all was well except sometimes I would ask simple questions like did she potty, or did she eat her food and no-one could tell me. I went to pick my daughter up early from school and I still can't believe witnessing a teacher ( a teacher who I believed to be so sweet and understand my daughter and that she is on the autism spectrum) yelling at my daughter to the top of her lungs. So much so that I heard her through the glass as I stood on the other side of the wall in shock! I open the door to tell the teacher that, that is absolutely unacceptable and she said to me " I talk to all the kids like that when they are loud" MIND BLOWN. First, I seen exactly what happened my daughter whom was sitting in her chair with all the other students who had put their straw in their capri sun and she was asking the teacher for help. I watched the teacher go round the table twice NOT HELPING my daughter who was calmly asking her as she struggled with putting her straw in. Even if the teacher was frustrated with how many times my daughter had asked ( maybe two from what I witnessed) the fact that the teacher yelled to the top of her lungs "IM GONNA HELP YOU!" shocked me and saddened me so much so that I immediately came in to remove my daughter from the class. I can only imagine what else this teacher has yelled at my daughter from if she felt the need to yell to the top of her lungs just because my daughter had CALMLY asked her for help with a straw!! Now here is the part where this school is deserving of a 1 star rating. I explained what happened to the front desk; none of them offered an apology simply said " oh no we will send someone in with her". No-one called me after. I called the next day still so upset telling the director what happened and she says " We spoke with her and my daughter wasn't being patient (( she is 5 by the way)) also confirming that the teacher did say she could have been a bit more patient with the kids. THAT WAS ALL, even the director herself on the phone did not offer any apology what so ever. I told then that I will be withdrawing my daughter from the school and she simply responds in her most chipper voice "Ok!"...That was it "Ok!" as if I'd offered her cookies... wow I am deeply shocked and saddened by this whole thing and will let every single person I know about this schools tolerance level, lack of compassion and how they deal with kids on the autism spectrum. I am deeply disappointed and I wouldn't recommend this school to anyone. EVER.

They have a great facility. Love the indoor gym perfect for Florida. They have a splash park too for the summer time. My child is in VPK here and he loves his teacher.

Children leave with so much knowledge!
