Panda Cub Academy offers children 3 months to 6 years of age a progressive Montessori based curriculum while introducing them to Chinese language and culture through play, art, music, dance, and lessons. All classes are led by our native Mandarin speaking teachers who are also proficient in English, experienced in early childhood education, and state certified.

Our classrooms and curriculum are built on the belief that children learn best through interactive experience and purposeful play. By combining the Montessori educational philosophy with Chinese language immersion, we offer children the best of both worlds.

Our comprehensive curriculum includes the classic Montessori subject areas of practical life, math, language arts, science, social studies, art and music. Because these early years encompass the optimal window for language acquisition, our students naturally and effortlessly acquire Mandarin, when their minds are primed to learn language.

Research over the last several decades demonstrates that bilingualism confers many advantages besides just being able to speak another language. These include higher academic achievement, better language and literacy comprehension, greater cognitive skills (such as flexibility in thinking, pattern recognition, and problem solving), economic and sociocultural advantages, and even protection from dementia, just to name a few.

Our mission is to help develop happy, kind, self-confident, and successful children. We hope to instill and inspire in our students an understanding, love, and kindness towards themselves as well as the people and world around them.

We offer full day, morning, extended morning, and afternoon programs 3, 4, and 5 days a week. Early drop off, "mini" early drop off, and per diem early drop off options are also available.

Infants are children from 3 months to 15 months old. Toddlers are 15 months to 2 years 9 months. Preschoolers are children 2 years 9 months old to kindergarten age.
