My son has been with My Great Beginnings Learning Center since he was 13 weeks old. I was very nervous at the time because I am not originally from Houston, and COVID was still a major concern. I chose MGBLC because of the infection control protocols I witnessed when I toured the center. At other centers, I noticed staff were not wearing masks, while MGBLC was taking those precautions seriously. At the time, I believe parents were still dropping their children off directly from the car.

My son is now 4 years old, and there is not one staff member who does not know my little one. They all know him by name, and that has always meant so much to me. My son began showing signs that he needed early intervention through ECI, and MGBLC noticed those needs not too long after I did. This has been so helpful for my son because they have always welcomed and allowed his therapists to visit him at the center. They have been supportive of his development and have never made me feel like his additional needs were a burden.

I feel so blessed to have found MGBLC during such a scary and uncertain time in my life. They have truly become like a family to us. I know that my son is genuinely loved and cared for when he is there, and that gives me so much peace of mind. They have always addressed any concerns I have had and have shown that they truly care about the children in their care. After four years, I can honestly say that choosing My Great Beginnings Learning Center was one of the best decisions I made for my son.
