Full time and part time care available for ages 3 to 6 months old in Old Forge,18518. $45 per full day, non-negotiable.

I currently run a private in-home daycare with 5 active 2.5 year olds. They started 2 years ago while still in carriers, unable to sit up yet and are now prepared and ready to move onto the next stage. I have an extensive background and many years working in childcare. While in my care, your child will receive the loving attention they deserve throughout the day in a fun, learning environment. My home provides a comfortable, large and well equipped classroom for the children to enjoy, large backyard, and safe, child friendly neighborhood!

School time! As they get older, we participate in daily circle time where we discuss colors, letters, numbers, themes, shapes, weather, opposites, rhymes, community helpers, etc. We also read stories and perform group sing a longs constantly throughout the day. We complete a worksheet at least 3 days per week as per their willingness.

Miss Kim is one of the kindest, caring and best teachers I've met. Our son was previously enrolled in a Preschool at a Lutheran Church, in which the teacher was completely unprofessional and my son was made to feel afraid of her, We are so grateful for Miss Kim, because the boy who was afraid to go to school, now wakes with excitement and loves Miss Kim, and his friends at school! My son will be 4 this summer. Miss Kim has been providing care to my son for almost 3 years. At the time, my 12 month old son was enrolled in a very highly recognized daycare but it wasn't right for him and our family. He needed more attention, more structure. That is when I found Miss Kim and it was hands down the best move I ever made for my son's care. Within months he was learning his numbers, colors, letters, songs and he just soared from that point. Behavior wise and education wise. Fast forward to now, in preschool program and he is completing worksheets, tracing words and writing his name ..that is just a snapshot of what he is learning, really just incredible. He LOVES to learn and i know a huge part of that is because of Miss Kim. She loves the kids like they are her own and teaches them to always do their very best. I calue our chats after school is over. She goes over his sheets with me, everything they did for the day, keeps me so involved. She has a very special connection with my son and I will always be thankful for her and what she's given us. I cant wait to see what he will learn next.

Miss Kim has provided care to my son for the past 2 years. My family and I could not be more excited/happy to watch our son grown and develop under Miss Kim's care. Kim runs/developed a structured learning environment. In a very short time my son has learned his colors, numbers, ABC's and numerous songs Daily through worksheets, singing, and organized activities etc. She provides a daily progress report going over all the songs/activities they complete as a group, which has been very helpful for me as a working mom to feel included in all of the activities they complete. Each day my son would be coming home with worksheets and art work that was completed.
Miss Kim's preschool is beautifully designed to give all children a wonderful safe, school environment that also has a large backyard for exploration! It is a MUST SEE! The only disappointment is that my Family and I recently moved out of state and we can no longer send our son and/or future children to ms Kim's preschool.
