Kidz Korner serves children who are fully potty trained between the ages of 3 and 6 years. The center is open Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm and operates 12 months a year.
Kidz Korner is a play-based early learning center inspired by developmental theory and current research on young children. Children learn through active hands on exploration within the environment, Curriculum is emergent and based on the interests and developmental needs of the individual child. The California Preschool Foundations and Frameworks are used as a guide in planning for children. The Foundations and Frameworks divide learning into eight domains including: Social-Emotional Development, Language and Literacy, English-Language Development, Mathematics, Visual and Performing Arts, Physical Development and Health, History and Social Science and Science.
