We love Storybook Academy! My two children (now 2 and 3 years old) have been there since they were three months old under the care of Jessica, the director. It has all the benefits of an in-home daycare setting (more individual attention, smaller setting, better teacher/child ratio), but the professional atmosphere and curriculum of a major daycare provider. They have always kept up their Paths To Quality Level 3 certification (the highest an in-home daycare can receive) and are communicative and professional with parents. The spaces are clean and organized and my children are well cared for. I can't speak highly enough about this daycare and how pleased we are with Jessica!

There are not enough wonderful words to say about this daycare. Both of my children started at just 8 weeks old in the care of Julie and her amazing staff. Here we are five and a half years later with a Kindergartner who was extremely well prepared for school, both emotionally and educationally. The kids learn, they play, they laugh and they make friends for life. Both my children adore all the staff and my husband and I could not be more pleased with the love and attention our children receive each and everyday. Trusting someone to care for your child all day, everyday is a difficult decision. I'm so glad we made this choice!

I am a very proud Mom of an active, energetic, curious, wild but loving little boy that has attended StoryBook Academy since he was 6 months old. Having had some not so great experiences prior to starting here, I was very nervous and uneasy once again to try a new place. One day I decided to just stop by out of the blue. When I knocked on the door, Julie greeted me. She made me feel very welcome and we set up a date to talk further about our child possibly coming there. After our meeting I felt very comfortable with her and the daycare. A previous in home daycare that we had tried was NOT happy with me stopping by unexpectedly when he started to see my child and that disturbed me very badly. After the 3rd time and my level of uncomfortably, I pulled my child out of there right away. Once my child started here, I stopped by several times unexpected to see him. Julie and the staff didn't mind at all and welcomed my "adult" conversation. That alone made me feel that this was the right place for my child! Since then we have been extremely happy with Julie and their wonderful staff! I feel like they are family to us! My son is now 3 1/2 and he loves going here. That means a lot! There has been so many little things that he will come home and do that he learned and we are so proud of his progress while he grows up! Daycare is one of the hardest choices you will ever have to make for your child, believe me I understand! Once you meet Julie and her staff you will understand what I mean. I hope that you will take the time to consider this wonderful place for your childcare. I am sure glad that we did! I am a parent with a two year old son who attends here, the atmosphere is so nice very warm and inviting with a touch of home feel with the benefits of schooling as well. The teachers here are wonderful and very patient. With it being so hard now days to find decent good loving quality daycare I highly recommend this as a place where your child will be loved, attended, taught and well taken care of....when you think of a "home daycare setting" think of Storybook Academy tell em Jaime sent ya...Thank you ladies for all the love and learning you have displayed upon my son, it is truly appreciated, You're all so very awesome!!

I am the Director here at StoryBook and I have worked in child care for close to 10 years. I left Kindercare because I felt it was institutionalized facility and company. It was about the $$ first before anything else.
StoryBook is the genuine article. The staff here come from big child care centers and have left for similar reasons. It was more about the profit than it was about the kids. What this means for parents is that the staff here are not here just for a paycheck; they are here because they love kids, they love each and every family, and they want to be a part of something bigger than themselves; a child's life. We can do so much more and impact child's life on a deeper level here at StoryBook.
There's an intimacy and personal connection that is made with every family. We know each parent, aunt, uncle, grandparent, brother, sister, etc. The families we service are our families too. Its truly something special.

I absolutely love this daycare. The care and attention that they show my daughter makes me feel secure in leaving her in their care. They are super clean and organized and my little Samara is so happy every time I drop her off. The curriculum that they teach is so amazing because my daughter is reading full books and she just turned 4. Julie Chapman is the owner and is such a patient and loving care giver that I can't believe we got so lucky the third time around for childcare. It can be a scary place when thinking of hiring someone to help in the raising of your child. I went through two nannies with no success until I found Storybook Academy.....thank you Julie for loving my daughter as if she is your own and for teaching her to read before she goes off to kindergarten!

My son, my wife and I love the StoryBook Academy! My son is always excited to arrive every morning and never wants to leave in the evening. The staff is friendly, polite and very knowledgeable. They work extremely well with the kids. The place is always clean, has lots of toys and educational material. I woukd HIGHLY recommend the StoryBook Academy to anyone.

Wow my three kids went to this daycare and it's just amazing. love the teachers they treated my kids like they were there own. I have never talk to anyone who didn't like it there especially the kids. I would and have recommended this place to everybody I know

What can I say about this beautiful place? If I could give it 10 stars, I would. The house is immaculate, the teachers are friendly, caring, and professional. The curriculum goes far beyond any other child care facility that I know of. The waiting list is long, so get on that list as soon as possible!

This daycare is absolutely amazing! My daughter has been here since March and has learned more and made more friends than I ever could have imagined. The teachers are fully engaged and the kids have structured learning times as well as free play. We absolutely love it here!

My husband and I were not pleased with the daycare. Very dirty, and the owner Julie was very rude when trying to be contacted. We found a cheaper daycare that offers a high level of education time and play time.
