The state licensed day care & learning center, including a full-time Kindergarten program, provides a unique environment that accommodates all working parents' busy schedules. Complete with extended hours of 6:45am to 7:00pm, an emergency drop-in program, flexible schedules, a 12-month program, and located in the center of town, just a mile from the Morristown train station, Cradles to Crayons is rapidly becoming the center of choice for parents living or working in the area. The center cares for children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 6 years. The infant center is divided by age group with each room designed with age appropriate equipment to encourage maximum development. The Junior Infant room is dedicated to infants 6 weeks to 7 months. The Senior Infant program is designed for infants 7 months to 12 months. The infant private napping rooms which are monitored by an audio/visual system, provide a comfortable sleeping environment for the infants. The Waddler program has been created for 12 month to 18 month old children. The first introduction to a Preschool type setting is our Toddler program which provides care for children that are 18 months to 2 years old. Preschool classrooms provide an enriching curriculum environment for children ranging in age from 2-4 years. Cradles also offers a full- time, certified Kindergarten program which includes before and after care until 7:00pm. Their dedicated staff provides an environment that promotes education while having fun. Each classroom offers a curriculum developed specifically for each age group including science, math, social studies and language. To free up parent's time on the weekend, a huge variety of extra-curriculum is offered including music, dance, exercise and nutrition, soccer instruction, Zumba, acting classes and during the summer, swim lessons at a local indoor swimming pool. To add to the fun, local field trips and educational guest are incorporated into the program. A Summer Fun program is offered in June, July & August.
