Saira is, misrepresenting our interaction - just as she misrepresented her job to the nanny she hired. We did not 'provide' a nanny to Saira - she hired a nanny we referred to her - after the first nanny she wanted to hire turned the job down (for the same reasons the nanny she hired quit after one week). Despite repeated written requests for a detailed job description, Saira failed to provide one to the agency or the caregiver. She then kept telling the caregiver, who was working the 10 year in her care, to take on household tasks like the family's kitchen dishes. (Housekeeping was not part of anything she had verbally described as a responsibility. The straw that broke the camel's back was when Saira accused her care giver of stealing the 10 year old's 'GoPro' camera and demanding that we should cover the $400 cost. A GoPro camera is used for video capture of outdoor action. Saira had no evidence at all that her nanny stole the camera - she just chose to conclude that it was more likely an employee on their first week of work while trying to make a good impression was more likely to steal a camera than that her 10 year old son misplaced or lost the camera outside of their home. The nanny resigned and - as Saira has correctly mentioned - the agency refunded the placement fee - even when we had no obligation to do so. The only fee charged was for the temp days used by the family - and, as is our policy, we let Saira know that should she hire another caregiver referred by us, the temp fees would even be credited back against a future final fee.

The nanny Saira hired continues to do exemplary work for our client families - is specifically requested for BackUp Care from Care.com Work@Home families - and is a pleasure to work with.
