About the business
A New World of Montessori preschool mission is to create an educational community based on the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori. We serve children 0 to 6 years of age and their families in our Infant/Toddler, Primary and Kindergarten program, inspiring independence, a love of learning, and a respect for the inter-connectedness of all living things and the natural environment. The Treehouse Montessori graduate will develop a sense of respect and responsibility for them self, and others, and be to a life-long learner.

Anew World of Montessori is open Monday through Friday, 7:30am- 6pm.
PROGRAMS:
At Anew World of Montessori, we offer three separate programs.
The Infant/Toddler room houses children ages 0 to 2 years of age, and up to 2 1/2 years if needed depending on the child's readiness and maturity. Ratio 1:4.
In the Toddler room, we house children ages 2 to 3 years of age. Ratio 1:12.
In the Preschool/ Pre-K we house children ages 3 1/2 to 6 years of age. Ratio 1:12
We provide morning and afternoon snack. At Anew World we believe teaching children at a young age to eat healthy will help them to make healthy choices as they grow. We purchase organic foods with minimal additives as much as possible.

I'd avoid this place. Toured it and saw a lot of issues.

Do not take your child here. There were many incidents that lost my trust in the facility but I will share the 2 worst ones:
The 2nd week I left my daughter there for several hours, I picked her up and her eyes were red and puffy. I was told by the teacher Mrs. Soodi that she had been crying for over an hour. My first question was why didn't you call me? She said she didn't want to worry me. When I got home and unpacked my daughter's things, I saw that half the breastmilk she was sent with was never given to her. My daughter is 6 months old. When I brought that to the attention of the school, Mrs. Soodi denied that I told her there was additional breastmilk available for my daughter to eat. She had been crying asking for more milk for over an hour and the staff didn't think to contact me even though I told them I was available.
The 2nd one is more concerning. I picked my daughter up after work and she had a large swollen red mark on her forehead. When I asked what happened, the director Mrs. Mona told me that my daughter accidentally hit herself on the head with a small plastic toy. The story didn't check out. The size of the injury was much bigger than any part of the toy. It looked like she fell.
When I asked probing questions to the owner, Rozita, she told me she would follow up with me that evening. The next morning, I received an e-mail that they were terminating the relationship. "Why don't we go ahead and yesterday was the child's last day." Without any further clarification on the injury.
This forced me into a position where I have to take time off work to find a new daycare for Taylor and had the injury evaluated by a pediatrician who agreed that the story didn't make sense for the injury.
Do what's best for your children and keep looking!
