Yonkers family needs a part-time tutor for Math. We have two young girls, an 8-year-old (3rd grade) and a 6-year-old (1st grade). We are interested in two weekly in person 45 minute sessions for each in child. We'd prefer someone who specializes in math or has experience teaching math to children in this age group. Our girls currently attend a private school, but are in need of additional 1:1 teaching. They do not have any special learning needs at this time. We anticipate that they are not receiving sufficient 1:1 instruction at school. - Ideal candidate will have previous teaching experience - can recommend their own coursework to teach our girls and bring them up to speed with standards. - Is aware of standards and what milestones need to be hit - Can assess current level Please highlight your math experience in the application.
