Outdoors-loving Kids Seek Summer Sitter!

Our family is looking for a caregiver primarily for our autistic 5-year-old son and, when she's not in camp, our neurotypical 7-year-old daughter. Our son loves nature, exploring outdoors, building things, playing pretend, and water play! He communicates via some speech and also a program on his ipad. This person must have lots of patience and be flexible enough to approach transitions, expectations, boundaries a bit differently than for a neurotypical child (we will happily show you what works!). CPR cert a must, experience with neurodiverse kids a plus but not required. Energy, enthusiasm and love are most important. White River Junction/West Hartford area. Hours are somewhat flexible, likely around 15 hours per week. Summer only.
