Referring professional experienced caregivers who have the skills to meet each individual customer's needs. This organization grew out of a legacy that began over 42 years ago. Jean Griswold, a former geriatric counselor, received news of the death of an elderly woman in her husband's parish. After learning the details of the case, she was saddened by the fact that this death could have been easily prevented, and was propelled to action.
Jean organized a business that referred capable and compassionate people to care for the elderly and or disabled of her community. The business' purpose was to make certain the at-risk and those needing assistance were safe and healthy in their homes. Griswold Home Care of the greater St. Louis & St Charles areas is wholeheartedly committed to serving our community in the same manner. We educate families on the advantages of staying independent in their own homes with dignity. We switched care companies way too late and were only able to use Griswold for a short time. The caregivers were excellent, and working with the staff to coordinate the care was an easy transition, not to mention our costs were cut in half. I highly recommend the team at Griswold.

We recently changed to Griswold from another Caregiver company and have been so pleased with the change. The caregivers are fabulous and the office has been so easy to work with. Additionally, it is much more affordable.

I cannot say enough about the quality of home care my mom received from Griswold. Caregivers were experienced, well qualified and attentive to mom's every need, willing to be flexible as the dementia progressed, and worked as a team with the hospice in later stages. (For billing purposes, I would not recommend mixing hourly personnel with daily personnel, but the company was willing to work with us on that.) Mom thrived under their care, and felt valued and safe.

Hired this company to provide sitters for my dad who is in a nursing home. The sitters were excellent, took great care of my dad and managed to keep him safe and in bed. Can't say enough about the care that was provided.

This is a company that does not pay taxes on its caregivers or workers comp. They are all independent contractors so they say , the company says that they are only a go between but The owners tells us that he gets a fee for the getting caregivers backgrounds checks and maintains their records but our care gives stated that she paid for her background check, Hum? this sounds to me like this company which I hired has some issue with their workers, I have had so many care givers that I m not sure who would come next, The owner stated that he has continuity of care? I have not seen it! I would rate this company ( registry) big fat -1 stars .
