I grew up babysitting my cousins since I was about 11 or 12. When I was 16 I became a lifeguard and also a musical theater instructor for kids ages 7-11. When I was 17 I taught swim lessons from birth-adults and also adaptive classes. Most recently I taught HS math for a year.

My name is Gillian. I am 25 and have a Bachelors in Studio Art. For the past 10 years I have been sitting for many different families in my area. I am very proud to say I am the director of my local summer camp. I organize all events and oversee the safety of over 100 children and 14 staff a day. For the 2022 school year I have been a long term substitute for Saint Agnes pre-school in Lake Placid New York. I have successfully worked with children of all ages as well as skill sets. The second most important thing to me while taking care of children is the fun that must be incorporated in every child's life. My first priority always being the safety and well-being of the child. My motto is kindness always comes first. How an adult acts around a child they care for directly effects how the child learns to act and potentially who they grow up to be.

Hi! My name is Kim and I am 25 years old. I graduated from SUNY Potsdam in 2020 majoring in Public Health. I currently work as a head pre-k teacher at a daycare. I am seeking reoccurring nannying/ babysitting opportunities starting after Labor Day. I have a lot experience working with children from babysitting, working at summer camps, teachers assistant at a special education school, and my current position in a daycare. I am responsible, reliable and a hard working individual who would love to help your children grow into the best versions of themselves!

I am interested in caring for a young child. I am a patient, energetic, and loving woman with an affinity for babies and young children. I've worked with children in a daycare setting, as well as directed a daycare. I taught elementary school at the first and second grade levels for 7 years, and worked as a Child Abuse Prevention Specialist with a non-profit for the 14 years. I just ended a 6 year position with a family with 4 children. I also raised my own child. I currently teach music classes with an organization. I recognize that when I'm being asked to care for someone's precious child, doing so is my only agenda and I give all my attention to the task. I love to sing with children, read books and get down on the floor and play. Being with children is a passion for me and I would love to care for your child! In addition, I love to cook and am happy to do household chores. In my spare time I throw pottery and spend time in nature.

Thank you for taking the time to read about my experiences working with children of-all-ages, I began my career right after college as a lead toddler teacher and that led to me becoming a live-in nanny to a family welcoming their 3rd baby. After moving to beautiful SoCal I discovered I loved being a part of a Waldorf home schooling community, I got my certificate and began teaching yoga & mindfulness classes as an after school enrichment activity at a couple of schools. I became a mom 15 years ago and continued to be a professional nanny as well as a preschool and elementary substitute teacher. I love public speaking and have given talks to parents and caregivers about the benefits of yoga for children so they can learn habits that stay with them and help them throughout their lives. Now, if you are on my profile is for one of two reasons, number one being that you are looking for a babysitter or number two you are looking for a tutor. Babysitting: I absolutely love children! I have worked successfully in a daycare for 2 years. *I can do light housekeeping. *Prep meals *Take proper care and maintain of child. *Read and play with child. Cleaning is my personal stress reliever. I love cleaning, organizing, and tidying up my home and other people's homes. I have professionally cleaned one full house from scrubbing the refrigerator, to cleaning windowsills, to dusting and I would like to continue to clean and tidy up homes.

I currently work retail but was previously a baby to five boys after 1. 5 - 6 years and was a daycare teacher in the 1-year-old classroom. I am a graduate from SUNY Potsdam in upstate New York and have been in the area for 2 years. I have experience with children ranging from infants to late teens, am comfortable with groups of multiple children, twins and triplets, and have experience working with children with special needs/serious illnesses. I have also worked professionally with animals and am comfortable with any pets. My work experience includes teaching preschool (12-24-month-old room), one-on-one student aid at Ulster BOCES with special needs students, 5 summers working at camps (held a supervision/director position), 10+ years babysitting. First Aid and CPR certified, Wilderness First Responder certification.

I love working with children. I currently work at a daycare center with babies to 5-year-olds. I also have worked at the local zoo during the summer for the zoo summer camps. At the daycare, I interact with the children one-on-one to better assist their needs. I love the outdoors and doing as much activities as I can outside.

I am currently a certified teacher in New York State. I have been involved with Early Childhood for the last 15 years. I have a strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and positive behavior management strategies. I have a 16 and a 13-year-old of my own and I am very comfortable with all pets.
