I am an experienced childcare provider and arts educator who has designed and executed arts programming for youth for many years. I have a passion for nurturing children's creativity and helping them develop essential skills through artistic expression. With over 10 years of experience working with children in many age ranges, I have a proven track record of providing high-quality care in different environments to children of all ages. I ran a private dog-walking and pet care business for 3 years. So I feel confident with many pet care needs. My skillsets are diverse and can be utilized to meet many needs within a family setting. I remember many summers and holidays visiting my grandparents. They loved it when I helped around the house or for companionship. For the past decade, I have had the privilege of working as an assistant at a group family daycare and preschool center in the Tri-State area, as mandated by the state of New York. My role has involved providing support to teachers and staff, as well as interacting with students to help ensure their safety and well-being. In addition to my work in the classroom, I have also provided graphic design and marketing services for the daycare and preschool. I take great pride in helping to create engaging and informative materials that showcase the exceptional quality of care and education provided by the center. Hi, my name is Mindy! I'm a 22-year-old graduate student in K-12 Art Education at RISD. I've been working part-time as an elementary/middle school art teacher for five years and going. I love teaching visual arts to children as a way to encourage creativity, exploration, and motor development. I'm also an experienced cellist and pianist- I've been playing both for over 10 years and continue to play in my free time! I'm currently available Tuesdays after 2 p.m. and Friday-Sunday. Hello! My name is India, and I am super excited to virtually meet you! I'm a kind and creative person who is looking for jobs within a reasonable distance, I am attending my 4th year at RISD, thus I lack a car at the moment. Aside from that, for babysitting I love love love doing fun arts and crafts, talking about cartoons, paying games, reading, watching movies, etc. For pet sitting, I've grown up with dogs and cats me entire life. I have a kitty of my own right now, I've volunteered at the Humane Society for cats, petsmart too! Like many people, I do seem a tad bit awkward at first, but I promise that wears off quickly haha. Because I am a full time student, my schedule may seem a bit strange. I can be pretty flexible, as I am a senior I can make my own schedule when it comes to homework. Hi, I'm Julie! I'm a student but am taking this semester off. I've had previous experience being a babysitter and tutor for children ages 8-14. I've also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, an organization focused on providing kids with a safe and supportive environment after school. I'm skilled at cooking, cleaning, and creating fun activities for all! I'd love to help out a family during these strange and stressful times.
