My experience as nanny comes from my trip in Australia, where I spent two years as a caretaker of a child (2 when I met him). As he had busy parents, he and I spent the day playing, learning Spanish and English, going for walks, helping at home, drawing, playing music and more. It was a very enriching experience to be a kid again and see the world through the eyes of a two year old. As he and I got to know each other better, we started communicating our interests in a more fluent English/Spanish mix, so we knew what we wanted to do every time. I as well helped at home by cooking, cleaning and feeding him, as well as bathing and cleaning after him from time to time. I have experience with a kid from 2-4 years old, but that doesn't mean I couldn't take care of older kids or young teenagers too. I do like to spend time with kids very much, just because they see things we adults don't. And that is a priceless and a very particular ability.
