Our dog had some challenges with trusting new people so we are happy to pay more for the extra work involved. We are traveling to the states May 31-June 23 and need someone to look after our dog Mocha. She is an anxious rescue with some behavioural issues around fear aggression so we are looking for someone experienced with working with rescues or someone who feels confident about learning how to handle her. She isn’t a wild attack dog but she does try to nip the backs of peoples legs when she doesn’t know them and feels afraid. There are things you can do to prevent this behaviour or to stop it if it does happen and we can demonstrate this with you. For this reason its best to have a few practice visits before we go. Once Mocha builds trust with someone she is a very affectionate and silly and energetic dog who loves to play fetch.
